Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher during the Asian session on Tuesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for September delivery traded at USD45.49 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.72%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD45.52 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD45.08 and resistance at USD49.36.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.05% to trade at USD97.65.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for September delivery rose 0.46% to trade at USD49.78 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD4.29 a barrel.
