Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher during the Asian session on Thursday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for September delivery traded at USD48.92 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.28%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD49.02 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD46.68 and resistance at USD49.52.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.10% to trade at USD97.32.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for September delivery rose 0.40% to trade at USD53.73 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD4.81 a barrel.
