On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for September delivery traded at USD50.26 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.36%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD50.38 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD50.15 and resistance at USD52.54.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.00% to trade at USD98.18.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for September delivery rose 0.05% to trade at USD56.52 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD6.26 a barrel.
