Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher during the Asian session on Wednesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for August delivery traded at USD53.27 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.44%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD53.49 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD50.38 and resistance at USD53.93.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.01% to trade at USD96.81.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for September delivery rose 0.29% to trade at USD58.85 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD5.58 a barrel.
