Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher during the Asian session on Thursday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for August delivery traded at USD52.14 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.95%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD52.24 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD50.58 and resistance at USD55.34.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.05% to trade at USD96.43.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for August delivery rose 0.58% to trade at USD57.54 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD5.4 a barrel.
