Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher during the Asian session on Tuesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for August delivery traded at USD52.99 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.88%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD53.12 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD52.41 and resistance at USD57.95.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.23% to trade at USD96.65.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for August delivery rose 0.70% to trade at USD57.20 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD4.21 a barrel.
