Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher during the Asian session on Thursday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for August delivery traded at USD57.01 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.08%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD57.08 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD56.68 and resistance at USD59.69.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.13% to trade at USD96.35.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for August delivery rose 0.28% to trade at USD62.24 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD5.23 a barrel.
