Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher during the Asian session on Thursday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for June delivery traded at USD59.55 a barrel at time of writing rising 1.66%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD59.77 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD56.07 and resistance at USD59.77.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.43% to trade at USD94.90.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for June delivery rose 1.26% to trade at USD66.67 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD7.12 a barrel.
