Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher during the Asian session on Wednesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for May delivery traded at USD49.66 a barrel at time of writing rising 4.34%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD50.45 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD47.05 and resistance at USD51.38.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.18% to trade at USD98.51.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for May delivery rose 3.01% to trade at USD56.77 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD7.11 a barrel.
