Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher during the Asian session on Thursday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for April delivery traded at USD51.76 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.45%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD51.90 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD48.71 and resistance at USD51.99.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.04% to trade at USD96.02.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for April delivery rose 0.30% to trade at USD60.52 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD8.76 a barrel.
