Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Basic Industry, Agriculture and Property sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite gained 0.96%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Indomobil Multi Jasa Tbk (JK:IMJS), which rose 24.57% or 86 points to trade at 436 at the close. Rig Tenders Tbk (JK:RIGS) added 21.52% or 34 points to end at 192 and Wahana Ottomitra Multiartha (JK:WOMF) was up 20.12% or 33 points to 197 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sugih Energy Tbk (JK:SUGI), which lost 9.88% or 17 points to trade at 155 in late trade. Maskapai Reasuransi Indonesia (JK:MREI) declined 9.81% or 460 points to end at 4230 and Lionmesh Prima Tbk (JK:LMSH) shed 9.68% or 60 points to 560.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 200 to 111 and 99 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.37% or 0.17 to $45.91 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.29% or 0.14 to hit $48.49 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.69% or 9.30 to trade at $1356.80 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.13% to 13084.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.27% to 10050.15.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.83% at 94.79.
