Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Financials and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.61%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 2.31% or 0.72 points to trade at 31.90 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) added 1.73% or 8.3 points to end at 487.3 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 1.43% or 3.60 points to 255.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which lost 1.11% or 5.0 points to trade at 446.4 in late trade. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) declined 0.88% or 0.55 points to end at 62.15 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) shed 0.78% or 2.4 points to 303.8.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 85 to 67 and 15 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.52% or 0.76 to $49.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.52% or 0.77 to hit $49.88 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 1.64% or 21.25 to trade at $1270.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.59% to 6.6109, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4367.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.44% at 94.09.
