Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Real Estate and Chemicals sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.33% to hit a new 3-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which rose 1.00% or 3.7 points to trade at 375.5 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) added 0.91% or 11.0 points to end at 1219.0 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was up 0.90% or 0.30 points to 33.76 in late trade.
Biggest losers included FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which lost 1.29% or 3.1 points to trade at 237.8 in late trade. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) declined 1.15% or 3.10 points to end at 266.40 and Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) shed 1.06% or 1.4 points to 130.4.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 100 to 49 and 15 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.47% or 0.23 to $48.87 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.32% or 0.16 to hit $49.73 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.59% or 7.15 to trade at $1210.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.32% to 6.6602, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4391.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.32% at 95.52.
