Investment Strategy

The investment seeks high current income consistent with the preservation of principal. The fund invests, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of its investable assets in bonds of corporations with varying maturities. For purposes of this policy, bonds include all fixed income securities, other than preferred stock, and corporations include all private issuers. The effective duration of the fund's portfolio is generally less than three years.

Biography David Del Vecchio is a Managing Director and portfolio manager for PGIM Fixed Income’s U.S. Investment Grade Corporate Bond Team. Mr. Del Vecchio’s responsibilities include corporate strategies as well as corporate security selection in multi-sector strategies. Prior to his current role, Mr. Del Vecchio was a taxable money markets portfolio manager for the Money Markets Group, responsible for managing proprietary fixed income accounts, as well as the securities lending portfolios. Biography Steven A. Kellner, CFA, is Managing Director and Head of the Investment Grade Corporate Bond Team at PGIM Fixed Income. He also is the senior portfolio manager for the Corporate Fixed Income Strategy and a portfolio manager for multi-sector strategies. Previously, Mr. Kellner managed US corporate bonds for Prudential Financial’s proprietary fixed income portfolios. He initially joined Prudential Financial in 1986. After completing his MBA in Finance at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1987, Mr. Kellner rejoined the group as a municipal bond analyst. In addition to his MBA, Mr. Kellner received a BCE in Civil Engineering from Villanova University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Biography Malcolm Dalrymple is a Principal and corporate bond portfolio manager for the Investment Grade Corporate Team and is responsible for intermediate and short corporate strategies as well as corporate security selection in intermediate multi-sector, Core, and Core Plus portfolios. He has specialized in corporate bonds since 1990. From 1983 to 1990, Mr. Dalrymple was a money markets portfolio manager. He joined Prudential Financial in 1979 as a securities lending trader and a bank analyst. Mr. Dalrymple received a BS in Finance from the University of Delaware and an MBA in Finance from Rutgers University.

Biography Carlucci currently serves as vice president and portfolio manager for Prudential Capital Management Group, responsible for investments in corporate bonds, U.S. government bonds, and mortgage-backed securities for both retail and variable-account portfolios. She has also managed money markets for Prudential and handled portfolios for high net-worth clients of Prudential-Bache. Before joining Prudential, Carlucci worked in portfolio management for Marsh and McLennan.
