Investment Strategy
The investment seeks to provide a high level of current income; capital appreciation is a secondary objective. The fund seeks to achieve its objectives by investing at least 80% of the fund’s net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in U.S. and foreign debt securities, including those in emerging markets. To achieve the fund's investment objective, the manager will allocate investments among various sectors of debt securities and at any given time may have a substantial amount of its assets invested in any class of debt security.
