Investment Strategy

Brummer Multi-Strategy Euro’s objective is to offer a competitive investment alternative to institutions and private individuals looking for an efficient way to diversify their risk across individual funds. Brummer Multi-Strategy Euro is a multi-strategy fund that invests in hedge funds managed by fund management companies within Brummer & Partners. Brummer Multi-Strategy Euro offers investors an efficient means of achieving exposure to the group’s funds. The constituent funds are managed by different portfolio management teams, who operate independently of each other and pursue different investment strategies. Over time, this should ensure a good risk diversification for Brummer Multi-Strategy Euro. The risk, as measured by the standard deviation of the fund’s return, is expected to be lower than the stock market risk and kept within the 3 to 10 per cent interval. The objective is to ensure a good risk-adjusted return compared with traditional asset classes. Brummer Multi-Strategy Euro does not charge any management or performance fees. Unlike in other funds-of-funds, Brummer Multi-Strategy Euro’s investors do not pay fees at two levels.

Kerim has led the development of BMS’s research methods and allocation process, both quantitatively and qualitatively. He is also heading the development of tools for monitoring the risks in the underlying strategies as well as analysing and developing their investment and risk management processes.
