Investment Strategy

The investment seeks high total investment return through a combination of capital appreciation and current income. Under normal market conditions, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in equity securities issued by real estate investment trusts (REITs) and other companies engaged in the real estate industry. The portfolio managers look for real estate securities they believe will provide superior returns, focusing on companies with the potential for stock price appreciation, plus sustainable growth of cash flow to investors. The fund is non-diversified.

Before joining the firm, she was a credit research analyst with Prudential Securities. Biography Kim Redding is the Chief Executive Officer of Brookfield Redding. He has more than 20 years experience in the real estate industry and has founded and co-founded three investment advisory firms specializing in real estate securities. In 1986, Mr. Redding co-founded Redding, Melchor & Company, followed by RREEF Real Estate Securities, and Brookfield Redding LLC in September 2001. Since 1986, he has specialized in the management of institutional accounts invested in publicly-traded real estate securities, primarily REITs. Mr. Redding has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance with an emphasis in Real Estate from California State University, Fullerton. Kim is on the Dean’s Advisory Board for the College of Business & Economics at California State University, Fullerton.
