Craig Erlam, Senior FX Analyst at Oanda talked about Brent oil showing signs of topping out although bearish momentum may gain pace in the US session today. He took note of the increased prospect of more oil supply at a time when supply already exceeds demand.

Erlam also talked about the Aussie dollar moving to 0.80 levels, with Zak Mir pointing out to a long wick formation on the charts in the aftermath of the Doha debacle.

On sterling, Erlam said the currency appears undervalued as latest polls are pointing to a rise in 'remain' vote.
