Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Public Services, Financials and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.62%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 1.26% or 120.0 points to trade at 9640.0 at the close. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) added 1.08% or 160.0 points to end at 14960.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was up 0.79% or 240.0 points to 30660.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bcolombia (CN:BIC), which lost 1.55% or 420.0 points to trade at 26680.0 in late trade. Conconcret (CN:CIC) declined 1.42% or 15.0 points to end at 1040.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) shed 1.24% or 360.0 points to 28700.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 21 to 7 and 2 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 3.17% or 5.25 to $170.93 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 4.02% or 108.50 to hit $2588.00 , while the December Gold contract rose 0.20% or 2.55 to trade at $1305.85 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.39% to 3061.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.13% to 946.48.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.23% at 96.97.
