Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Energy & Utilities and Multi Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.71%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were AL-BABTAIN POWER &TELECOM CO (SE:2320), which rose 3.96% or 1.20 points to trade at 31.50 at the close. Saudi Public Transport Co. (SE:4040) added 1.96% or 0.30 points to end at 15.60 and Taiba Holding Co. (SE:4090) was up 1.58% or 0.70 points to 45.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110), which lost 10.37% or 1.70 points to trade at 14.70 in late trade. Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050) declined 9.79% or 2.93 points to end at 27.00 and Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) shed 9.43% or 4.10 points to 39.40.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 129 to 29 and 16 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.24% or 0.12 to $50.73 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.17% or 0.09 to hit $52.84 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 3.40 to trade at $1280.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.44% to 4.0343, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 99.51.
