Investing.com – Turkey equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Leasing & Factoring, Real Estate Investments and Holdings & Investments sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 added 0.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the BIST 100 were Ihlas Holding (IS:IHLAS), which rose 10.00% or 0.040 points to trade at 0.440 at the close. Celebi (IS:CLEBI) added 4.03% or 0.90 points to end at 23.22 and Koza Madencilik (IS:KOZAA) was up 3.63% or 0.070 points to 2.000 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Net Turizm (IS:NTTUR), which lost 6.45% or 0.120 points to trade at 1.740 in late trade. Kartonsan (IS:KARTN) declined 2.78% or 7.90 points to end at 276.00 and Aksa Enerji (IS:AKSEN) shed 1.89% or 0.060 points to 3.110.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 185 to 149 and 72 ended unchanged on the Istanbul Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Gold Futures for April delivery was down 0.44% or 5.50 to $1248.20 a troy ounce. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in May rose 1.51% or 0.75 to hit $50.26 a barrel, while the June Brent oil contract rose 0.97% or 0.51 to trade at $53.05 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 0.39% to 3.6318, while EUR/TRY fell 0.68% to 3.8994.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 99.99.
