When compared to a stock's price action, it can give traders a better sense of how a stock may perform in the short term. An asset is typically considered overbought when the RSI is above 70.

Profire Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: PFIE)

  • Profire Energy posted better-than-expected quarterly results. “Our second quarter results reflect the sustained momentum across our business which contributed to a 50 percent increase in revenue over the prior year and the highest quarterly net income and EBITDA in company history,” said Ryan Oviatt, Co-Chief Executive Officer and CFO of Profire Energy.
