Tigress Financial Partners upgraded Walmart (WMT) to Buy from Neutral and raised its price target to $176.00 from $170.00 as the retailer continues to expand in all directions to meet the ever-changing retail environment, which, combined with its higher-margin flywheel growth businesses, will drive further shareholder value creation.

Deutsche Bank upgraded Norfolk Southern (NSC) to Buy from Hold while cutting its price target to $266.00 from $273.00. The firm said it started to get more positive on the company mid-last year, stating in August that it was "intrigued with the company's new operating plan," which had the "potential to show tangible improvement in the coming months."

Shares plunged more than 5% yesterday after the company reported a Q4 EPS miss, while revenues were in line with expectations.

Raymond James upgraded FibroGen (FGEN) to Outperform from Market Perform with a price target of $35.00. Shares gained more than 9% intra-day today.

OTR Global upgraded Carrier Global (CARR) to Positive from Mixed.

  • Enrich the conversation
  • Stay focused and on track. Only post material that’s relevant to the topic being discussed.
  • Be respectful. Even negative opinions can be framed positively and diplomatically.
  •  Use standard writing style. Include punctuation and upper and lower cases.
  • NOTE: Spam and/or promotional messages and links within a comment will be removed
  • Avoid profanity, slander or personal attacks directed at an author or another user.
  • Don’t Monopolize the Conversation. We appreciate passion and conviction, but we also believe strongly in giving everyone a chance to air their thoughts. Therefore, in addition to civil interaction, we expect commenters to offer their opinions succinctly and thoughtfully, but not so repeatedly that others are annoyed or offended. If we receive complaints about individuals who take over a thread or forum, we reserve the right to ban them from the site, without recourse.
