Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Oil & Gas and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.89%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb), which rose 1.42% or 0.9 points to trade at 64.5 at the close. Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) added 0.57% or 5.5 points to end at 969.5 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) was up 0.46% or 0.8 points to 174.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which lost 5.51% or 11.7 points to trade at 200.5 in late trade. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) declined 4.02% or 9.40 points to end at 224.50 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) shed 3.51% or 1.34 points to 36.79.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 528 to 181 and 79 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.47% or 0.21 to $44.52 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.19% or 0.09 to hit $46.91 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.58% or 20.11 to trade at $1255.79 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.04% to 9.7589, while USD/SEK rose 0.60% to 8.7553.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.58% at 97.47.
