Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.66% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb), which rose 0.71% or 1.00 points to trade at 142.00 at the close. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) added 0.43% or 1.1 points to end at 257.9 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) was up 0.39% or 0.2 points to 63.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which lost 3.93% or 1.26 points to trade at 30.77 in late trade. Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) declined 2.01% or 2.20 points to end at 107.20 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) shed 1.75% or 4.10 points to 230.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 365 to 349 and 80 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.34% or 0.60 to $45.53 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.26% or 0.60 to hit $48.23 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 1.64 to trade at $1244.16 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.46% to 9.6375, while USD/SEK fell 0.28% to 8.4430.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 95.47.
