Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Industrials and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 3.15% to hit a new 3-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which rose 1.77% or 1.95 points to trade at 112.00 at the close. Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) added 1.63% or 4.90 points to end at 305.20 and Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) was up 1.03% or 0.32 points to 31.42 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Investor AB ser. B (ST:INVEb), which lost 5.37% or 16.00 points to trade at 282.00 in late trade. Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa) declined 4.97% or 7.95 points to end at 152.00 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) shed 4.79% or 4.20 points to 83.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 659 to 141 and 61 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 2.94% or 2.24 to $74.07 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.64% or 2.10 to hit $77.42 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.30 to trade at $2,480.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.27% to 11.55, while USD/SEK fell 1.24% to 10.59.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.02% at 103.14.
