Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Services and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 1.35%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which rose 2.79% or 4.50 points to trade at 165.70 at the close. Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) added 2.75% or 5.40 points to end at 201.50 and ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) was up 2.70% or 4.7 points to 179.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIBs), which lost 0.88% or 1.4 points to trade at 157.5 in late trade. Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) declined 0.59% or 0.8 points to end at 135.0 and Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) shed 0.33% or 0.30 points to 89.70.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 422 to 176 and 62 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.57% or 0.29 to $50.15 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.46% or 0.24 to hit $51.79 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.23% or 2.95 to trade at $1254.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.12% to 9.7084, while USD/SEK rose 0.50% to 8.8333.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.43% at 97.95.
