Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.26%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which rose 2.05% or 3.40 points to trade at 169.60 at the close. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) added 1.71% or 0.71 points to end at 42.22 and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa) was up 1.32% or 1.40 points to 107.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb), which lost 6.15% or 12.70 points to trade at 193.80 in late trade. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) declined 1.00% or 2.40 points to end at 238.10 and Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) shed 0.67% or 6.5 points to 966.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 388 to 313 and 94 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.89% or 0.41 to $46.49 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.93% or 0.45 to hit $48.87 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.87% or 10.63 to trade at $1227.93 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.16% to 9.5423, while USD/SEK fell 0.33% to 8.3312.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.55% at 95.03.
