Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.13%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 2.26% or 1.15 points to trade at 51.95 at the close. AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) added 1.92% or 9.4 points to end at 497.9 and ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) was up 1.34% or 2.2 points to 166.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb), which lost 5.18% or 7.20 points to trade at 131.80 in late trade. Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) declined 0.96% or 1.3 points to end at 133.8 and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) shed 0.75% or 0.38 points to 50.02.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 332 to 262 and 75 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.98% or 1.05 to $51.96 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.60% or 0.89 to hit $54.83 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.23% or 2.85 to trade at $1234.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.12% to 9.4763, while USD/SEK rose 0.41% to 8.8628.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.47% at 100.31.
