Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Telecoms and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.31%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which rose 1.88% or 3.60 points to trade at 191.90 at the close. ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) added 1.79% or 10.60 points to end at 603.60 and NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) was up 1.37% or 0.70 points to 48.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which lost 3.01% or 0.18 points to trade at 5.66 in late trade. Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) declined 2.65% or 31.20 points to end at 1,145.00 and ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) shed 0.80% or 2.40 points to 299.40.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 382 to 378 and 79 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.69% or 0.55 to $80.27 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.72% or 0.61 to hit $84.86 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.60% or 14.00 to trade at $2,343.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.25% to 11.22, while USD/SEK fell 0.32% to 10.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 104.87.
