Get your bid paddles out. Snoop Dogg is getting into the memorabilia auction game. Doubtless, the most unique hip-hop memorabilia in the auction — or any other market for that matter — is one of Snoop's smoked blunts.

The roach, part of Snoop's ongoing "Tha Shiznit" sale via memorabilia-authentication and auction marketplace, The Realest, is the first-ever certified roach from the rapper-turned-entrepreneur.

The weed, smoked in front of a TRUeST Authenticator this past March 27, was "collected, covertly marked, documented, and preserved" inside a solid resin block, ensuring that the roach is no longer consumable, reports Hypebeast.

The resin block was then placed inside the ashtray that Snoop used while smoking, which will allow the highest bidder to put the rare item on display.

Hundreds Of Items Up For Auction Snoop's offerings, of which there are several hundred, include relatively low-end items like photos, Play Stations, autographed riders and production books to TV scripts, platinum discs, master recording tapes (without the copyrights however) autographed jackets and jerseys.

There is even a Death Row Records chain in a custom box autographed by the rapper himself. The auction also features hand-written lyrics, stage-worn outfits, candid photographs from studio sessions, including with longtime collaborators such as Dr. Dre and Nate Dogg, original recordings, awards and more from Snoop’s long career.

Then there’s Snoop's colorful Rastafari close knit crocheted beret for which there has been five bids with the highest so far at $57. Phase 1 of the auction launched on May 21 and ends June 2.

New Revenue Opportunity for Artists? Asks Variety Snoop is joining the booming business of music paraphernalia. Variety pointed out that John Lennon's Gibson acoustic guitar, on which he wrote many of the Beatles' early hits, went for $2.5 million at an auction.

Bob Dylan's handwritten lyrics for his 1965 "Like a Rolling Stone" sold for $2 million.

The most valuable auction item in hip-hop history was a gold, ruby and diamond crown ring designed and worn by Tupac Shakur. Drake paid over a million for it last year.
