Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Insurance, Building & Construction and Industrial Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 3.20% to hit a new 3-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (SE:4200), which rose 0.88% or 0.55 points to trade at 63.00 at the close. National Medical Care Company (SE:4005) added 0.57% or 0.35 points to end at 62.00 and Etihad Etisalat Co (SE:7020) was unchanged 0% or 0 points to 33.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Knowledge Economic City (SE:4310), which lost 9.92% or 2.51 points to trade at 22.80 in late trade. Red Sea Housing Services Company (SE:4230) declined 9.82% or 3.42 points to end at 31.40 and The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) shed 9.79% or 4.22 points to 38.90.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 163 to 2 on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 3.54% or 1.72 to $46.80 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 2.81% or 1.50 to hit $51.81 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.57% or 6.20 to trade at $1094.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.53% to 4.1211, while USD/SAR rose 0.03% to 3.7515.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.30% at 97.32.
