Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financial Services, Agriculture & Food and Petrochemicals sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 2.59%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Etihad Etisalat Co (SE:7020), which rose 3.52% or 0.72 points to trade at 21.20 at the close. Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150) added 3.34% or 0.42 points to end at 13.00 and Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110) was up 2.62% or 0.56 points to 21.92 in late trade.
Biggest losers included National Com Bnk (SE:1180), which lost 7.90% or 4.40 points to trade at 51.30 in late trade. The Saudi British Bank (SE:1060) declined 7.41% or 2.00 points to end at 25.00 and Samba Financial Group (SE:1090) shed 6.92% or 1.80 points to 24.20.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 115 to 50 and 14 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.11% or 0.05 to $47.02 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.08% or 0.04 to hit $49.64 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.49% or 6.00 to trade at $1225.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.17% to 4.2546, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 96.05.
