Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Building & Construction, Energy & Utilities and Hotels & Tourism sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.71%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040), which rose 9.65% or 3.30 points to trade at 37.50 at the close. Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:2210) added 9.09% or 0.40 points to end at 4.80 and Wataniya Insurance Company (SE:8300) was up 7.88% or 2.30 points to 31.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213), which lost 5.73% or 0.75 points to trade at 12.35 in late trade. Electrical Industries Co (SE:1303) declined 5.32% or 1.40 points to end at 24.90 and Saudi Industrial Development Co. (SE:2130) shed 4.57% or 0.50 points to 10.45.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 115 to 41 and 12 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.19% or 0.10 to $53.27 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $55.71 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 2.25 to trade at $1193.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.64% to 3.9857, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.38% at 100.94.
