Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrial Investment, Real Estate Development and Financial Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.49%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Dallah Healthcare Holding Company (SE:4004), which rose 9.04% or 11.94 points to trade at 144.00 at the close. Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (SE:8180) added 4.25% or 1.37 points to end at 33.60 and United Electronics Company (SE:4003) was up 3.69% or 2.93 points to 82.25 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Takween Advanced Industries (SE:1201), which lost 5.06% or 3.64 points to trade at 68.25 in late trade. Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060) declined 3.13% or 0.55 points to end at 17.00 and Saudi Pharmaceutical Appliances (SE:2070) shed 3.10% or 1.53 points to 47.90.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 111 to 54 on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.86% or 0.50 to $57.53 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.31% or 0.83 to hit $62.88 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.10% or 1.20 to trade at $1186.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.46% to 4.0589, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7501.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.47% at 97.84.
