Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Building & Construction, Hotels & Tourism and Retail sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230), which rose 9.52% or 2.20 points to trade at 25.30 at the close. Knowledge Economic City (SE:4310) added 6.25% or 0.85 points to end at 14.45 and Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:4140) was up 5.12% or 2.30 points to 47.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Company for Hardware (SE:4008), which lost 4.68% or 4.50 points to trade at 91.75 in late trade. AL-BABTAIN POWER &TELECOM CO (SE:2320) declined 3.62% or 1.10 points to end at 29.30 and Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) shed 3.45% or 0.15 points to 4.20.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 80 to 64 and 24 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.69% or 0.32 to $46.38 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.40% or 0.19 to hit $47.89 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.27% or 3.40 to trade at $1274.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.63% to 4.2408, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.52% at 94.60.
