Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Media & Publishing and Petrochemicals sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 1.31% to hit a new 6-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Moammar Information Systems Co CJSC (TADAWUL:7200), which rose 7.24% or 11.00 points to trade at 163.00 at the close. Saudi Cable Company (TADAWUL:2110) added 5.51% or 3.70 points to end at 70.80 and CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8240) was up 4.92% or 1.50 points to 32.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Manpower Solutions Co (TADAWUL:1834), which lost 8.51% or 0.77 points to trade at 8.28 in late trade. International Company for Water and Power Projects (TADAWUL:2082) declined 5.31% or 18.60 points to end at 331.80 and Miahona Holding SCJSC (TADAWUL:2084) shed 5.19% or 1.18 points to 21.56.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.36% or 0.29 to $81.00 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.36% or 0.31 to hit $85.64 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.15% or 3.45 to trade at $2,343.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.09% to 4.03, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 104.86.
