Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Financial Services and Agriculture & Food sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.97%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Shatirah House Restaurant Co (TADAWUL:6016), which rose 10.00% or 1.84 points to trade at 20.24 at the close. Saudi Cable Company (TADAWUL:2110) added 5.00% or 4.20 points to end at 88.20 and Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (TADAWUL:4290) was up 4.08% or 1.20 points to 30.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (TADAWUL:6060), which lost 5.18% or 1.06 points to trade at 19.40 in late trade. United Int Transportation Company (TADAWUL:4260) declined 3.87% or 3.20 points to end at 79.50 and National Medical Care Company (TADAWUL:4005) shed 3.33% or 5.80 points to 168.60.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 228 to 78 and 19 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.28% or 0.19 to $68.31 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.22% or 0.16 to hit $72.05 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.37% or 9.60 to trade at $2,615.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.10% to 4.00, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 105.84.
