Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Multi Investment, Petrochemicals and Insurance sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.88%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co (SE:6070), which rose 2.06% or 0.48 points to trade at 23.80 at the close. Jazan Development Co. (SE:6090) added 1.86% or 0.30 points to end at 16.40 and Halwani Bros (SE:6001) was up 1.80% or 0.90 points to 50.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AlJazira Mawten REIT (SE:4331), which lost 6.23% or 0.94 points to trade at 14.16 in late trade. Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110) declined 4.92% or 0.60 points to end at 11.60 and Riyad REIT (SE:4330) shed 4.68% or 0.40 points to 8.14.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 132 to 44 and 9 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.55% or 0.38 to $69.89 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.67% or 0.52 to hit $77.98 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.06% or 0.70 to trade at $1210.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.38% to 4.3746, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 94.70.
