Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Industrial Investment and Building & Construction sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.53%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Baazeem Trading Co (TADAWUL:4051), which rose 9.95% or 0.65 points to trade at 7.18 at the close. Halwani Bros (TADAWUL:6001) added 6.35% or 3.10 points to end at 51.90 and Theeb Rent a Car Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4261) was up 5.76% or 3.70 points to 67.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Middle East Healthcare Co CJSC (TADAWUL:4009), which lost 9.41% or 6.40 points to trade at 61.60 in late trade. Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) declined 7.69% or 0.01 points to end at 0.12 and Scientific and Medical Equipment House Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4014) shed 7.06% or 3.80 points to 50.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 225 to 70 and 10 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.33% or 0.25 to $75.48 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.14% or 0.11 to hit $78.44 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.71% or 17.15 to trade at $2,449.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.25% to 4.09, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.03% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 103.15.
