Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Hotels & Tourism and Media & Publishing sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.42% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040), which rose 9.81% or 2.39 points to trade at 26.75 at the close. Arabian Pipes Company (SE:2200) added 9.77% or 1.02 points to end at 11.46 and BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270) was up 3.85% or 1.05 points to 28.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Middle East Healthcare Co CJSC (SE:4009), which lost 10.00% or 5.40 points to trade at 48.60 in late trade. Saudi Marke (SE:4006) declined 7.32% or 1.50 points to end at 19.00 and Tabuk Cement Co. (SE:3090) shed 6.50% or 0.88 points to 12.66.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 120 to 48 and 16 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.07% or 0.05 to $66.99 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.26% or 0.19 to hit $72.47 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 1.90 to trade at $1222.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.18% to 4.3464, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 95.08.
