Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Multi Investment and Insurance sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.31%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Airlines Catering Company (SE:6004), which rose 4.62% or 3.80 points to trade at 86.00 at the close. Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050) added 3.00% or 0.90 points to end at 30.90 and Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (SE:4290) was up 2.87% or 0.54 points to 19.34 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which lost 9.84% or 7.20 points to trade at 66.00 in late trade. Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (SE:8100) declined 9.55% or 2.10 points to end at 19.88 and AlJazira Mawten REIT (SE:4331) shed 6.93% or 1.42 points to 19.08.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 126 to 37 and 16 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.65% or 0.31 to $47.28 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.81% or 0.41 to hit $50.32 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.25% or 16.09 to trade at $1274.31 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.67% to 4.3877, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7498.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.67% at 93.97.
