Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Retail and Multi Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.28%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Miahona Holding SCJSC (TADAWUL:2084), which rose 9.93% or 2.12 points to trade at 23.46 at the close. Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040) added 7.88% or 6.70 points to end at 91.70 and Jazan Development Co. (TADAWUL:6090) was up 6.92% or 1.00 points to 15.46 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:4240), which lost 5.99% or 0.53 points to trade at 8.32 in late trade. Mouwasat Medical Services Company (TADAWUL:4002) declined 3.69% or 4.60 points to end at 120.20 and International Company for Water and Power Projects (TADAWUL:2082) shed 3.56% or 13.00 points to 351.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 142 to 137 and 24 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.15% or 0.12 to $80.61 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.02% or 0.02 to hit $84.31 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.30% or 7.05 to trade at $2,338.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.39% to 4.03, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.05% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 105.18.
