Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrial Investment, Energy & Utilities and Building & Construction sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040), which rose 6.72% or 1.80 points to trade at 28.60 at the close. Jarir Marketing Co (SE:4190) added 6.07% or 6.75 points to end at 118.00 and Al Andalus Property Co SJSC (SE:4320) was up 4.65% or 0.80 points to 18.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8020), which lost 6.02% or 0.50 points to trade at 7.80 in late trade. The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) declined 5.62% or 1.25 points to end at 21.00 and Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150) shed 4.68% or 0.65 points to 13.25.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 103 to 54 and 12 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 2.95% or 1.39 to $45.69 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 2.93% or 1.44 to hit $47.77 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.66% or 7.80 to trade at $1183.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.31% to 3.9676, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7510.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.34% at 101.55.
