Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Real Estate Development, Energy & Utilities and Building & Construction sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311), which rose 9.97% or 1.86 points to trade at 20.52 at the close. Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) added 9.93% or 1.74 points to end at 19.26 and Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050) was up 6.90% or 1.44 points to 22.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE:4300), which lost 5.49% or 0.62 points to trade at 10.68 in late trade. Saudi Real Estate Co. (SE:4020) declined 4.40% or 1.45 points to end at 31.50 and Middle East Healthcare Co (SE:4009) shed 3.52% or 2.10 points to 57.60.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 89 to 86 and 11 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.86% or 0.59 to $69.17 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.75% or 1.32 to hit $74.00 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 1.30 to trade at $1269.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.24% to 4.3814, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7498.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 94.06.
