Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Cement, Transport and Building & Construction sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 1.46%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which rose 11.80% or 1.05 points to trade at 9.95 at the close. Najran Cement Company (SE:3002) added 9.96% or 1.30 points to end at 14.35 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) was up 9.61% or 1.10 points to 12.55 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Jazan Development Co. (SE:6090), which lost 4.09% or 0.65 points to trade at 15.25 in late trade. Aseer Trading Tourism&Manufacturing (SE:4080) declined 3.51% or 0.80 points to end at 22.00 and Saudi Basic Industries Corp (SE:2010) shed 1.94% or 1.50 points to 75.75.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 147 to 14 and 7 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.47% or 0.19 to $40.55 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.00% or 0.43 to hit $43.26 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.29% or 3.70 to trade at $1261.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.13% to 4.2726, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7510.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.10% at 94.06.
