Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrial Investment, Telecoms & IT and Retail sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 1.18% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140), which rose 9.18% or 0.45 points to trade at 5.35 at the close. Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290) added 8.57% or 0.60 points to end at 7.60 and Saudi Marke (SE:4006) was up 5.49% or 1.25 points to 24.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040), which lost 1.64% or 0.050 points to trade at 3.000 in late trade. Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) declined 1.57% or 0.40 points to end at 25.00 and ACE ARABIA COOPERATIVE INSURANCE (SE:8240) shed 1.21% or 0.40 points to 32.60.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 147 to 12 and 10 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.37% or 0.17 to $45.51 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.58% or 0.27 to hit $47.13 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.08% or 14.15 to trade at $1294.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.33% to 4.1479, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.03% at 97.42.
