Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrial Investment, Real Estate Development and Petrochemicals sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.16% to hit a new 3-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110), which rose 10.00% or 1.65 points to trade at 18.15 at the close. Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (SE:8180) added 9.47% or 2.70 points to end at 31.20 and Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) was up 9.09% or 0.90 points to 10.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240), which lost 9.95% or 4.40 points to trade at 39.80 in late trade. Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (SE:8100) declined 6.40% or 1.10 points to end at 16.10 and National Petrochemical Company (SE:2002) shed 5.93% or 1.10 points to 17.45.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 111 to 43 and 14 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.54% or 0.24 to $43.94 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.33% or 0.15 to hit $45.65 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 1.29% or 16.20 to trade at $1270.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.76% to 4.2681, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.60% at 93.97.
