Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrial Investment, Hotels & Tourism and Building & Construction sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.84%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which rose 9.88% or 0.85 points to trade at 9.45 at the close. Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140) added 7.89% or 0.60 points to end at 8.20 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) was up 7.66% or 0.85 points to 11.95 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Electricity Company (SE:5110), which lost 1.00% or 0.20 points to trade at 19.90 in late trade. Kingdom Holding Company (SE:4280) declined 0.88% or 0.10 points to end at 11.25 and Filing & Packing Materials Co. (SE:2180) shed 0.87% or 0.40 points to 45.40.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 140 to 17 and 13 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 2.59% or 1.16 to $45.92 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 3.09% or 1.43 to hit $47.68 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.68% or 9.25 to trade at $1347.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.26% to 4.1590, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.22% at 96.37.
