Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT, Petrochemicals and Transport sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.69%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were National Industrialization Co (SE:2060), which rose 6.77% or 0.85 points to trade at 13.40 at the close. Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) added 5.18% or 0.50 points to end at 10.15 and Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (SE:8180) was up 4.92% or 2.10 points to 44.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tabuk Agriculture Development Co (SE:6040), which lost 9.93% or 1.45 points to trade at 13.15 in late trade. Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8020) declined 2.13% or 0.25 points to end at 11.50 and Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) shed 1.30% or 0.050 points to 3.800.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 113 to 29 and 27 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.14% or 0.06 to $41.99 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.34% or 0.15 to hit $44.44 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.86% or 25.45 to trade at $1341.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.38% to 4.1583, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.46% at 96.19.
